Their story
Butler spells the name Epimachus. He and Alexander were arrested at Alexandria during the persecution of Decius. After a long imprisonment they were beaten with clubs, torn with iron hooks and burnt.
St. Dionysius, archbishop of Alexandria, saw part of their sufferings. He also names four women martyred on the same day, including the virgin Ammonarium. Butler and Baring-Gould agree on 250.
